MAATEE&SONS PARACHUTE CLOTH COACH JACKET
This is MAATEE's second delivery for the 26SS season.
A new coach jacket made from cotton-nylon parachute cloth has arrived.
Available in two colors: Gray Chambray and Greige.
The stand collar is an unusual feature for a coach jacket. Light padding in the collar gives it volume and helps it hold a beautifully defined shape.
The lining is made from lightly brushed cotton flannel, making this a versatile piece you can reach for right away as you start to tire of your winter outerwear.
One MAATEE-esque detail is the way the seam allowance is finished. At first glance, it looks like an ordinary double stitch, but it is sewn flat without tacking down the seam allowance.
The sleeve attachment is also anything but ordinary. Zoom in on the image and take a close look.
Can you spot what's unusual about it?
These subtle, hard-to-spot details are so like Mr. Matsumura, haha.
Coach jackets are often associated with a sporty look, but in MAATEE's hands, the sporty edge gives way to a refined piece of everyday wear.
Although it's an outer layer, the cotton-nylon fabric means it can be machine-washed at home. It's nice to have something that's easy to care for, too.

The Greige is shown here in size 2. At 172 cm tall, the fit has a comfortable amount of room. I'd go with size 2 myself.
The Gray Chambray is shown in size 3. It's hard to tell from the photo, but the relaxed proportions give it a streetwear feel. That works, too.
