NICENESS Officer Shirt P.P.A

This season, the NICENESS PPA is a shirt I bought for myself and have been wearing often.

Inspired by British military officers’ shirts, even the broad arrow on the tag is rendered using the “N” from the logo.

The Oxford fabric is made from Peruvian Pima cotton and woven on old-fashioned local looms to bring out the yarn’s natural texture.

Before wearing it for the first time, I washed it with water and tumble-dried it at home.

As you’d expect from Oxford cloth, it developed a nice amount of puckering, giving it more character and a vintage feel. Although it’s been sanforized, it shrank by 2 cm in both length and width—about one size overall.

The collar is detachable and comes with both wide and regular collar pieces. I personally tend to wear the regular collar.

I wear a size L, as I expected to tumble-dry it, but after shrinking, it fits more like a size M.

This NICENESS shirt is highly recommended—it’s a pleasure to throw on as the seasons change.
